Dr. Rustom Kevala was born in Mumbai, India in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century where he undertook his early education.  He came to the US in 1960s to puruse his higher education leading to a Ph.D. in engineering. Ever since he has lived in the US, in Washington, D.C., NJ before retiring to Metropolitan Tampa, Florida in early 2005. Rustom has been an active member of the North American Zoroastrian community, and served as the president of ZAMWI (Zoroastrian Association of Metropoitan Washington D.C) for a number of terms and also as the treasurer of FEZANA for a number of years.
